ISTRUZIONI DI INSTALLAZIONE DELL'AGGIORNAMENTO
DEL SOFTWARE E DEL FIRMWARE DEL PMM 8053:

1) I files sono compressi per velocizzare il trasferimento.
     Per decomprimerli è necessaria un'utility di decompressione.
     Le utility di decompressione, per differenti sistemi operativi
     possono essere scaricate dal nostro sito web:
     http://www.pmm.it/

2) Dopo aver decompresso il file scaricato posizionarsi sulla directory 
    scelta e lanciare il file di installazione SETUP.EXE

 3) Verrà creato un gruppo di programma  "8053 LOGGER INTERFACE" 
     sotto Menù Avvio - Programmi

4) Su "8053 LOGGER INTERFACE" è disponibile anche l'utility di
    aggiornamento del firmware


ISTRUZIONI DI AGGIORNAMENTO DEL FIRMWARE DEL PMM 8053

1) Sotto il gruppo programmi  "8053 LOGGER INTERFACE", creato in
    precedenza, lanciare  "UPDATE 8053 FIRMWARE" una finestra interattiva
    verrà aperta

2) Spegnere il PMM 8053

3) Connettere il cavo di service, spedito con l'apparecchio, al connettore
    "Wired" dell'8053 e al PC su di una porta seriale libera

4) Accendere il PMM 8053

5) Il firmware verrà aggiornato automaticamente, una barra indicherà lo
    stato di avanzamento sino all'indicazione di fine aggiornamento

Il cavo di servizio può quindi essere disconnesso, indifferentemente ad
apparecchio acceso o spento.
Alla successiva accensione si potrà controllare la revisione del firmware
visualizzata nella schermata iniziale del PMM 8053

ENGLISH VERSION 
PMM 8053 SOFTWARE UPDATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1) The files are ZIP-compressed for faster downloading.
    To unzip them you need a software compression utility.
    The unzipping utilities for different operating systems can
     be downloaded from our web site http://www.pmm.it/

 
2) After decompression to install the PMM 8053 Logger Interface
    software move to the destination directory and run the file SETUP.EXE

3) A program group called "8053 LOGGER INTERFACE" will be created
    under Start Menu - Program

4) On that program group the firmware update utility is also available



PMM 8053 FIRMWARE UPDATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Run the "UPDATE 8053 FIRMWARE" utility under  Start Menu - Program -
    8053 Logger Interface, a window will open

2) Switch off the PMM 8053

3) Connect the service cable, shipped with the equipment, to the PMM 8053
    "Wired" receptacle and to a serial port on the PC

4) Switch on the PMM 8053

5) The PMM 8053 firmware will be automatically upgraded, an increasing
     bar will show the upgrade progress until a end indication

The service cable can now be disconnected either with the PMM 8053
switched on or off.
On the next switch on of the equipment the new firmware release will be
shown on the initial PMM 8053 window.
